Dentist
Ryan Lee D.M.D.
Location: Augusta ME
Dr. Ryan Lee prioritizes understanding patients’ needs and their comfort level in the dental office. He believes that will encourage patients to be more mindful of their oral health which is ultimately his goal.
Dr. Lee grew up in Vancouver, BC in Canada and earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Waterloo. He then went on to work at a biotech company developing cell separation technologies used for research around the world. He then went on to work with a research team developing novel biomarkers for prostate cancer screening and diagnosis. Through this experience, Dr. Lee was exposed to the clinical setting, and he developed a desire to work with patients directly. Soon enough, Dr. Lee went on to pursue dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
On his time off, Dr. Lee likes to spend time outdoors whether it be golfing, snowboarding, hiking or on the patio of his favorite restaurants.
Dental Hygienist
Elizabeth

Liz has been with Gentle Family Dentistry since June 2018. Liz went to Gardiner High School and then received her bachelor’s degree from the University of New England in 2001. She has practiced Dental Hygiene in Central Maine for the entire 20+ years.
Liz and her husband Travis have three wonderful children – Sada, Brynnlea and Braden. She has been very active in her community over the years with coaching youth sports – coaching soccer, basketball, field hockey and softball at different times. Liz is also the Director of the Maine Strawberry Pageant held at the Pittston Fair each year and has been doing that since 2005. The pageant is all about encouraging young girls from all walks of life through volunteering and community involvement which Liz agrees with wholeheartedly!
Liz truly has a passion for dental hygiene and loves forming lasting relationships with her patients. With her attention to detail and caring nature, she is able to do the very best she can with treatment in office and homecare instruction to help patients develop habits for a healthy mouth!
Office Manager
Megan
Location: Augusta ME
Megan has been a part of the Gentle Family team since February 2019, starting out as a Patient Care Coordinator and moving her way up to Office Manager. With a strong background in administration, scheduling, and team support, she ensures the office stays organized and productive.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pups, Wesley and Bailey. A few hobbies would be bowling, traveling and spending time outside doing different activities that all four seasons have to offer.

Kiana recently joined the GFD team as a Patient Care Coordinator. She is passionate about getting to know all the patients, ensuring that every patient receives the highest quality of care and attention. In her free time, Kiana enjoys spending time with her children, being outdoors and being on the field playing softball on the weekends.

Emily was born and raised in Mid-Coast Maine. She has been working in the dental field for 2 years as a Dental Assistant and Patient Care Coordinator. She enjoys hunting, fishing, trail riding and spending time with her fiancé, family and her two dogs, Luna and Ruger.

Bridget joined Gentle Family Dentistry in 2023. Since then, she has become an insurance expert and is the heart of our financial department. Bridget takes pride in patient care and providing the best service. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, crafting, baking, and spending time with her family, friends and pets.

Shelby has been in the dental field since 2021. She has a true passion for learning and expanding her knowledge and developing her skills in the field with an end goal to become an expanded functions dental assistant.
Her love for spending time with her Animals, friends and family doesn’t go unnoticed. She’s always trying new recipes, hiking and traveling around.

Amanda is a Veteran who served five years in the U.S Navy, she spent three years in Japan which is her favorite place, another year in Washington and two in California. She's a proud mom of twin boys who always keep her on her toes.
Her family enjoys spending time together going shopping, swimming, and going on walks to waterfalls. Amanda Has been working in dental for three years and always strives to give the patients the best experience they've had at the dentists before.

Carleigh has been a Dental Assistant for 5 years. She is very passionate about helping patients get their perfect smile! She has called Maine home her whole life. Some of her favorite hobbies are fishing, hunting and spending time with her husband and family.
She has two dogs Molly and Gunner, who she spends a lot of her time hiking and going on adventures with!

Kylee was born and raised in Maine. She is new to the dental field but really enjoys it so far. A future goal is to become a hygienist so she can further her career in dentistry. She enjoys photography, spending time with her family and friends, and she also enjoys camping.
